Local Kids Feed Those In Need
As a part of the Christopher Academy Montessori School’s peace curriculum the children perform a community service project each year. These are images of them preparing sandwiches & filling festively decorated lunch bags for the Oxnam Shelter in Edison. The children worked diligently and loved every minute of it. Finding authentic ways for children to serve helps to build their sense of efficacy and their concept of community. Our parents volunteered to help with the preparation as well as deliver the food. It was a rewarding experience for all.
