Our Community Service Project this year was making blankets for the "Linus Project." The school and the parent association collaborate on choosing a social outreach program. Guided by parent volunteers our CA friends tied fringe to border the edges of fleece material, thus creating a blanket. Between our Scotch Plains and Westfield campuses 30 blankets were completed, which were distributed to critically ill children.

Our CA children enjoyed working on this project that not only developed their dexterity, focus and concentration; but, more importantly, heightened their social consciousness.
